Continuing the mini-album trend set last week, I made another fabric-covered album (7.5x7.5cm).

The album contains 12 cat-themed mini-paintings (5x5cm).

Notebook with Japanese Stab Binding

 

Exploring a bit the wonderful world of book binding, I made this notebook. It contains 30 pages and is 15x9cm in size.

The spine is bound with Japanese stab binding (or Japanese side stitch).

The interior of front and back covers is lined with paper salvaged from an envelope.

This mini album contains 12 miniature paintings. The album is 7.5x7.5cm with fabric covered covers and a ribbon for closure.

The interior pages are 7x7cm and are folded from one larger page.

Every page has a small painting of 5x5cm.

Ribbon Mini Album

Going on with small bookbinding projects I made a mini album. The size is 7.5x7.5cm and the cardboard covers are covered with fabric. The fabric is sewn to the covers as well as a ribbon, which is used to close the album.
